Vitamina C 1000 Timed Release di Jamieson è un integratore di vitamina C a lento rilascio con complesso di bioflavonoidi. La vitamina C è una vitamina idrosolubile che svolge molteplici funzioni nel nostro organismo ed è utile per la normale funzione del sistema immunitario.
Il nostro organismo non è in grado di produrre vitamina C né riesce ad immagazzinarla per lungo tempo. Sebbene ci sia un pool di vitamina C nel nostro corpo, vi è un costante turnover della stessa e qualsiasi quantità assunta oltre l’immediato fabbisogno viene escreta. Pertanto è richiesto un consumo quotidiano continuo di vitamina C.
Vitamina C 1000 timed release di Jamieson ha una formulazione particolare in cui l’acido ascorbico è microincapsulato; questo permette alla vitamina C di venire rilasciata gradualmente a piccole quantità in 6-8 ore, così da mantenere le cellule ed i tessuti saturi per un periodo maggiormente lungo. Come la vitamina C viene impiegata nei processi metabolici, la capsula rilascia una quantità maggiore di vitamina C per risaturare i tessuti.
Vitamina C 1000 timed release di Jamieson contiene i bioflavonoidi rutina ed esperidina e un complesso di bioflavonoidi dal limone; inoltre contiene estratto di acerola e di rosa canina, ottime fonti di vitamina C e di bioflavonoidi dalle spiccate proprietà antiossidanti e che favoriscono la resistenza dei capillari. L’assunzione di bioflavonoidi associati alla vitamina C aumenta la biodisponibilità di quest’ultima e ne potenzia gli effetti.
